Get to Know Us

At Centennial Community Food Shelf, we offer a variety of food assistance services to individuals and families in need. Our goal is to support the local community and address food insecurity by providing access to nutritious and healthy food.

Food available

  • Fresh dairy and meat

  • Some fruits and vegetables

  • Cereal and bread

  • Canned items

  • Pasta, meal preparation items

  • Hygiene and household items (when available)

What to expect?

We operate on a client self-choice model, allowing each visitor to choose food items from the shelves that meets their needs.

  • Follow the signs to the main food shelf entrance when you arrive.

  • After checking in, pick a shopping cart and follow the directional lines on the floor through the food shelf space.

  • Some items may have a limit on how many you can take; look for signs on the shelves about any limitations.

  • Guidelines are provided on how much food to pick up based on the size of your family.

  • Bring your cart to the weighing station when you are done; we use that information as feedback for Second Harvest Food Bank.
